The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) was established in 2002 under the Road Act (Chapter 13:18) as a statutory body under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development. Our core mandate is to mobilise and administer road user fees for the construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of Zimbabwe's road network across all 10 provinces.
Over two decades, ZINARA has grown to operate more than 50 toll gates nationwide, license over 1 million vehicles, and disburse road funds to Urban Councils, Rural District Councils, and the District Development Fund (DDF), ensuring every corner of Zimbabwe benefits from improved road infrastructure.
