About ZINARA

The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) was established in 2002 under the Road Act (Chapter 13:18) as a statutory body under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development. Our mandate is to mobilise and administer road user fees for the construction and maintenance of Zimbabwe's road network.

How Vehicle Licensing Works

Get your vehicle licensed in four simple steps at any ZINARA office nationwide.

Gather Documents

Bring your vehicle registration book, roadworthy certificate, insurance, and national ID.

Visit a ZINARA Office

Head to your nearest ZINARA licensing office in any of Zimbabwe's 10 provinces.

Make Payment

Pay in USD or ZWL via cash, EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks, or bank card.

4

Collect Your Licence Disc

Receive your licence disc and affix it to your windscreen. You're road-legal!
